ATS, Inc. offers 11 programs for testing your sterilizer using biological spore testing – the most important step in obtaining sterility assurance. We offer the widest variety of program choices in the industry. After serving thousands of clients nationwide since we started in 1986, we realized the need for such a diversity of testing programs. We will also customize a program to fit your needs (For example: 6-month testing for seasonal businesses, or test results sent to a different address, emailed or faxed, and so on). Standard Program: Five testing frequencies to choose from!

The Standard Program testing is our most comprehensive program and also the most popular. This program offers a fresh spore test sent to your office each week, month, quarter, etc. as a timely reminder. This method of sterilizer testing is far superior to the test kits that are sent in bulk which are cheaper, but are often left in some corner “out-of-sight, out-of-mind”. Testing in a timely manner will avoid fines from your local health department (depending on the type of industry). Your original, personally signed test report is mailed upon completion.

Economy-Plus Testing Program: Three testing frequencies to choose from!

The Economy-Plus Programs offer pre-dated tests and self-addressed forms with return postage prepaid. The test kit box is sent annually. The pre-dated tests help to keep you on schedule and if you do fall behind in testing, you will receive a phone call from our customer service staff to remind you. Testing in a timely manner will avoid fines from your local health department (depending on the type of industry). Your original, personally signed test result is mailed upon completion.

The Economy Program is our lowest-priced program providing the basic sterilizer spore testing service with self-addressed forms and envelopes. The test kits are sent annually. If you fall behind in testing, you will receive a phone call from our customer service staff to remind your facility to test on schedule. Testing in a timely manner will avoid fines from your local health department (depending on the type of industry). Your original, personally signed test report is mailed upon completion. This cost-effective third-party testing program meets all guidelines and requirements.

In-Office Biological Indicator Testing:

The new addition to our line of spore testing is SterileCheck™, a self-contained biological indicator (BI) ampoule for steam sterilization and allows you to perform your own In-Office testing! This cost-effective BI test is comparable to the 3M Attest and other similar products. You can test your sterilizer for as little as $1.68 per test! The ampoules are packaged 25 per box or 100 per box and require a small tabletop incubator which can be purchased separately. Note: They will also fit your existing incubator (most brands). This is the most cost-effective method to test your sterilizer using biological indicators but requires your office staff to process the testing and do their own documenting and record keeping. ATS, Inc. will assist you in setting up this system of testing.
