STANDARD
PROGRAMS:
The “Standard Program” sterilizer testing is our most
comprehensive program and also the most popular. This program offers a
fresh spore test sent to your office each week, month, quarter, etc. as
a timely reminder. This method of sterilizer testing is far superior to
the test kits that are sent in bulk, which are cheaper, but are often
left in some corner “out-of-sight, out-of-mind”. Testing in a timely
manner will avoid fines from your local health department (depending on
the type of industry). Your original, personally signed test report is

ECONOMY-PLUS PROGRAMS:
The “Economy-Plus Program” offers
similar features to the Standard Program with pre-dated tests,
self-addressed forms, return postage prepaid but without the
constant reminder of a test mailed to your facility each week,
month, or quarter. The box of test kits is sent annually. If you
fall behind in testing, you will receive a courtesy call from our
customer service staff to remind your facility to test on schedule.
Testing in a timely manner will avoid fines from your local health
department (depending on the type of industry). Your original,

IN-OFFICE TESTING:
A new addition to our line of spore
testing is SterileCheck™,
a self-contained biological indicator (BI) ampoule for steam
sterilization. This cost-effective BI test is comparable to the 3M
Attest and other similar products. The ampoules are packaged 25 per
box and require a small tabletop incubator which can be purchased
separately (Note: The ampoules will also fit existing incubators).
It is the most cost-effective method to test your sterilizer using
biological indicators but requires your office staff to be trained
to process the testing and do their own documenting and record

IN-OFFICE TESTING-PLUS: The “In-Office Testing-Plus”
program utilizes the same In-Office Testing described above using SterileCheck™ ampoules
but also includes a monthly third-party “Economy Program” (see
above). The separate mail-in spore test (used each month) will
provide documented test reports from our third-party, independent
laboratory, providing additional protection to your clients and
staff and most importantly, protection for your company should
litigation occur. Use the less-expensive In-Office Testing to test
your sterilizer daily or weekly (meeting The Joint Commission, AAMI
and
CDC recommendations) and
mail-in the third-party spore test once a month. You will also
receive a wall certificate which informs your clients that you
monitor your sterilizer using a third-party laboratory. (Some
health departments mandate third-party biological indicator testing

In-Office and Mail-To-Lab Testing!
Verify the sterilization process of all steam
sterilizers which include Statim, Midmark,
Tuttnauer, Lisa, Mocom and Pelton & Crane
sterilizers.
Bowie-Dick Test
Packs should be used daily to evaluate the
performance of air-removal (vacuum) system of
dynamic pre-vacuum type sterilizers. Available
as test cards or preassembled test packs.
Internal CI’s should be used within
each pouch or package, tray, or container. Class 5
Integrators should be used in conjunction with
physical monitoring and biological indicator
testing for verifying the efficacy of a
sterilization system. (See AAMI ST79:2006)
Recordkeeping is a must for all
sterile processing departments. This ensures
accountability and allows operators to trace
