ATS
Inc. is one of the first companies to provide sterilization
monitoring!
Autoclave Testing Service, Inc. has become a widely recognized
industry leader in sterility assurance products. Our laboratory
provides comprehensive testing using biological indicators that
challenge your sterilization system, assuring you that it is
sterilizing. We provide the most professional, cost effective
sterilizer
monitoring service available in the industry. We
strive to have our clients
compliant with their state regulations
and reduce their risk of liability with detailed sterilizer test
reports. We offer competitive pricing and will customize a program
to fit your needs. Our test kit is unique to the industry as it
provides an immediate verification of sterilization, while the
biological spore test is mailed to our laboratory for processing.
In the event of a test failure, you will be immediately notified,
and a free re-test will be issued.
Biological spore testing is the only accepted method of verifying
sterilization has taken place, through the death of the dual
spores. The
spore strip test is placed in the
autoclave/sterilizerduring a normal sterilization cycle. The spore strips
are then returned to our laboratory for culturing. The documented
result of the spore test is a valid
proof of sterilization.

OUR SPORE TESTING PROGRAMS INCLUDE MANY
FEATURES:
FAST TURN AROUND
TIME! 24-hour results for steam sterilization, 72-hour results for
chemical vapor, and 7-day results for all other types of
sterilization including dry heat and Ethylene Oxide sterilization. We use dual spores
that meet all industry standards. The paper strips are inoculated
with Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus spores
and are certified and FDA approved.
Immediate and
confidential notification of failed test results. Most programs
provide FREE re-tests to confirm an adverse test result. We have
knowledgeable technicians on staff to assist in proper procedure
following a
failed test.
Each biological spore
test packet also includes a Class 5
Steam Integrator
(a multi-parameter chemical indicator) which changes color
after sufficient exposure to the three critical parameters for
sterilization (steam, time and temperature). This provides
immediate results allowing you to release your sterilized load,
while the biological indicator is being processed at our laboratory. Control spore tests with proof of
positive growth are documented.
Wide range of program
choices. Tests are sent out weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc, as a
timely reminder (see

cost effective economy programs are sent annually, with results sent
upon completion (see
